Swabere Du Deck. Swabere was born in Paris France and spent the first 10 years of his life studying with the great composers of Europe. He then moved to Vienna to become a court composer. By the age of 22 he had been knighted and pronounced Duke of Spain ... no, ALL of Spain. He then lived in India where he was given the title "Buddy to the Grand Lama." Nothing could have been more grand and exciting than his life ... until he smelled the sea. At age 24 he left his lifestyle to join the H.M.S. Ravenspittle. At least this is what he tells us when we find him surrounded by empty rum bottles. In keeping with his high status and social lifestyle, his new duties include: cleaning many bodily fluids and solids (mostly his own) off the deck of the ship and yelling like a monkey. He can often be found sitting in a corner rocking himself to a state of calmness as he thinks of new privy jokes.
