Miranda May Smyte. I've been told she was once the only daughter of a wealthy ship owner but the crew of the Crows Nest (a far more ruthless and industrious bunch then us) capture her ship. After she bit two fingers of the Crows Nest's captain off, Andrews, the Captain, "lost" her in a game of chance to our fellow, Phineas Flarg. Sure, technically Miranda is ship's property but truth is, she's come to love the rest of us, especially our drunken friend Phineas. Although she's has more than a few occasions to escape (actually, we were all so afraid of losing fingers we kept trying to make it easy for her to leave) she stays, enjoying the many pleasures of Pirate life. Oh, don't tell Phineas she can escape, it's a secret.
